Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Sports injury rehabilitation is the structured process of restoring movement, strength, function, and confidence after an athletic injury, helping patients return safely to daily activities and sport. It combines clinical assessment with progressive exercises that address pain, joint mobility, muscle performance, balance, coordination, and sport-specific demands. Rehabilitation plans are adjusted according to tissue healing, symptoms, functional testing, and individual goals, with education on load management and injury prevention. In medicine, this approach supports recovery from conditions such as sprains, strains, fractures, and overuse injuries while reducing reinjury risk and promoting long-term physical performance.
