Rp 13 Software

RP 13 Software is a specialized computational tool used to support data handling, analysis, or design workflows in bioengineering, where reliable digital processing helps connect experimental measurements with engineering decisions. The software typically converts user-entered parameters or instrument-generated data into organized analyses, visualizations, or calculated outputs through programmed algorithms and defined processing steps. Its use can improve reproducibility, reduce manual errors, and help researchers evaluate biological systems, optimize engineered designs, and communicate results. Understanding the software’s inputs, processing logic, and outputs is important for interpreting analyses accurately and integrating computational methods into bioengineering research.

Peptide Purification: An RP-HPLC-based Technique to Extract Peptides from Digested Protein Lysates

2023

In this video, we demonstrate reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography to purify peptides from a digested protein lysate mixture. These purified peptides are then lyophilized and stored for downstream applications. Analysis of peptides can help understand the mechanics involved in cellular signaling and cancer.

Carbon-13 (¹³C) NMR: Overview

2024

Carbon-13 is a naturally occurring NMR-active isotope of carbon with a low natural abundance of 1.1%. In contrast, carbon-12 is the most abundant isotope of carbon with zero nuclear spin. Therefore, it is NMR inactive. The gyromagnetic ratio of carbon-13 is smaller than that of protons. As a result, carbon-13 resonance is about 6000 times weaker than proton resonance. For a given magnetic field strength, the resonance frequency of carbon-13 is about one-fourth of the resonance frequency for...

Neural control and cognitive processes can be studied through eye movements. The VisualEyes software allows an operator to program stimuli on two computer screens independently using a simple, custom scripting language. The system can stimulate tandem eye movements (saccades and smooth pursuit) or opposing eye movements (vergence) or any combination.
