Fbs Resuspension

FBS resuspension is a cell-culture handling step in which a concentrated cell pellet is gently dispersed in fetal bovine serum (FBS), a nutrient-rich biological supplement used to support cells outside the body. The process uses controlled pipetting or gentle mixing to separate cells evenly while limiting shear stress and clumping, producing a uniform suspension for subsequent culture or analysis. In cancer research, FBS resuspension helps maintain viable tumor or cancer cell populations during routine passaging, preparation for assays, and other experimental workflows. Consistent technique improves reproducibility by supporting comparable cell density and condition across samples.

CRC Organoid Cell Labeling: A Method to Generate GFP Lentivirus-transduced Colorectal Cancer Organoid Cells

2023

This video describes the technique of generating CRC organoids transduced by GFP lentiviral particles for enabling fluorescent imaging. These GFP labeled organoids, when placed in animal models, help to study tumor invasion and metastasis.

Quantifying Bulk Autophagic Sequestration Activity in Mammalian Cells

2025

The video demonstrates an assay for assessing bulk autophagic sequestration activity in mammalian cells. It utilizes electroporation to release cytosolic proteins, including lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). The sequestered LDH and total cellular LDH fractions are determined to assess LDH sequestration, providing insights into the overall bulk sequestration activity.
