Experimental Chamber

An experimental chamber is a controlled enclosure designed to isolate, manipulate, and monitor conditions during scientific experiments. In neuroscience, researchers use chambers to regulate factors such as sensory stimuli, temperature, lighting, sound, or access to equipment while recording neural activity, physiological signals, or behavior with electrodes, cameras, and other sensors. By standardizing the environment and limiting external disturbances, an experimental chamber helps link controlled inputs to measurable responses in animals, tissue preparations, or human participants. These systems support studies of perception, learning, motor control, and brain–body interactions, while improving experimental reproducibility and enabling precise comparisons across trials.

Chambers of the Heart

2025

The human heart is a complex organ made up of four chambers: the right and left atria and the right and left ventricles. These internal chambers are separated by partitions known as the interatrial and interventricular septa. The exterior of the heart features a groove known as the coronary sulcus that demarcates the atria from the ventricles, while the anterior and posterior interventricular sulci distinguish between the two ventricles. Deoxygenated blood from the body is received in the right...
