Iridium Oxide Graphene Nanohybrid

Iridium oxide graphene nanohybrid is an engineered composite that integrates iridium oxide with graphene to combine catalytic activity, electrical conductivity, and interfacial stability. By distributing iridium oxide across a conductive graphene framework, the hybrid can facilitate electron transport and increase access to active surface sites during electrochemical reactions. This architecture supports applications in electrocatalysis, chemical sensing, energy-storage devices, and water-splitting systems, where performance depends on efficient charge transfer and durable operation. In engineering research, controlling composition, dispersion, and interface design helps tune activity and stability.
