供給は経済学の基本的な概念で、生産者が一定期間内にさまざまな価格で販売しようとする意思があり、供給できる商品やサービスの量を指します。

これは、製品の価格と供給量の関係を表します。一般的に、価格が上昇すると、生産者はより多くの商品やサービスを市場に供給する動機が生まれ、供給量が増加します。逆に、価格が下落すると、生産者は利益が減るため供給量を減らすことがあります。

供給には、投入コスト、技術、政府の政策、サプライヤーの数、将来の価格予想など、いくつかの要因が影響します。原材料や労働力などの投入コストは、生産費に大きな影響を与えます。投入コストが高いと供給が減少する傾向があり、投入コストが低いと供給が増加する可能性があります。技術の進歩により生産効率が向上し、供給が増加する可能性があります。補助金、税金、規制といった政府の政策は、供給のダイナミクスを形成します。市場のサプライヤー数によって、全体的な供給量が増減します。さらに、将来の価格に関する生産者の予想が、現在の供給決定に影響を与える可能性があります。価格の上昇が予想される場合、生産者は現在の供給を減らして後でより多く販売する可能性があり、その逆もまた同様に起こります。これらすべての要因が相互作用して、生産者がさまざまな価格帯でどれだけ供給する意思があり、供給できるかを決定します。
