Body Joint Motion Terms

Body joint motion terms describe how bones and muscles move at different joints. These standard names make it easier to talk about range of motion in the body. They are used to describe actions at the shoulder, hip, elbow, knee, wrist, fingers, toes, and spine.

解剖学的運動は、標準的な解剖学的位置を参照して骨と筋肉の動きを表します。これらの動きは、多くの場合、反対方向の補完的な動きとペアになります。 

多くの動きは、前頭葉、矢状、または横方向の解剖学的平面に沿って移動します。

前頭平面の動きは、腕を肩の高さまで横方向に上げたり、腕を体の側面に戻したりするなど、体の正中線に向かって、または体の正中線から離れて発生します。

矢状面の動きは、歩行中に腕を前後に動かすなど、人の前側と後側の間を移動します。

横方向の平面運動には、頭を左右に回転させるなど、回転やねじれが含まれます。
