図2Aに示すように、染色試薬はタンパク質に結合するため、タンパク質はゲル上に青色のバンドとして現れます。最初のレーンには、分子量基準として使用される標識タンパク質が含まれており、BSA標準タンパク質バンドは70 kDaの分子量に対応し、FEN1核酸タンパク質バンドは45 kDaの分子量に対応します。実験結果から、FEN1ヌクレアーゼは約45 kDaのところに明確なバンドとして現れ、誘導されたタンパク質発現の精製に成功したことが示されました。
図2Bに示すように、レーン2のD1は、バンドサイズが59 kDaのフルオレセイン標識一本鎖DNA基質を表しています。レーン 3 の SF は、バンド サイズが 80 kDa の合成フルオレセイン標識二本鎖基質です。レーン2と比較すると、結果はフルオレセイン標識二本鎖DNA基質の合成が成功したことを示しています。
