Fragment Analyzer Software

Fragment Analyzer Software is a data-analysis platform that interprets electrophoretic measurements of nucleic acid fragments, providing information about their size, concentration, and integrity. It processes fluorescence signals generated as DNA or RNA fragments migrate through a separation matrix, producing electropherograms and fragment-size distributions for quality assessment. In cancer research, the software helps evaluate genomic DNA, circulating tumor DNA, RNA, PCR products, and sequencing libraries before downstream analyses. By identifying degradation, contamination, or inadequate library profiles, it supports reliable sample selection, assay optimization, and reproducible results in molecular profiling, biomarker studies, and next-generation sequencing workflows.

2013

Locomotor activity (LMA) is a simple and easily performed measurement of behavior in mice. Coupling of video tracking software (VTS) and LMA allows for the improvement of specificity and sensitivity, especially when compared with the manual, line crossing method of LMA analysis. Additionally VTS allows long-term tracking of mouse LMA.

Habitat Fragmentation

2020

Habitat fragmentation describes the division of a more extensive, continuous habitat into smaller, discontinuous areas. Human activities such as land conversion, as well as slower geological processes leading to changes in the physical environment, are the two leading causes of habitat fragmentation. The fragmentation process typically follows the same steps: perforation, dissection, fragmentation, shrinkage, and attrition. Perforation and dissection often occur during the initial stages of...
