Dr. Samuele Ferrari received his MSc in Medical and Molecular Biotechnology and his PhD in Molecular Medicine at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2017 and 2020, respectively. During his MSc studies, he worked on the development and optimization of gene editing approaches in human primary cells for therapeutic purposes. During the PhD, he developed novel approaches to improve efficiency and tolerability of gene editing in human hematopoietic cells. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute of Gene Therapy in Prof. Luigi Naldini’s group.
