Luciana Cacciottola earned her medical degree and completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics in Milan. In 2018, she started her Ph.D. in the Gynecology Research Unit at the Université Catholique de Louvain, with an FNRS-FRIA awarded a scholarship. Her research focuses on fertility preservation and involves developing techniques to improve human ovarian tissue transplantation outcomes using stem cell therapy.
