Shaohui Wang graduated from the Henan University of Chinese Medicine with his BS degree, then obtained his PhD from the Minzu University of China, working on applying new technology and new method in ethnic medicine. He continued his postdoc training at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, working on using NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence imaging in tumor-targeted therapy.
