Dr. Fumiyuki Hattori is a Research Professor in the Innovative Regenerative Medicine at Kansai Medical University. His lab has several focuses. The main aim is the creation of innovative regenerative medicines for a wide range of target organs and tissues. Furthermore, the second aim is the social implementation of human-induced pluripotent stem cells that accelerate their applications in medicinal, cosmetological, and functional food research. He invented several essential methods for heart regenerative medicines. He received his MS in Molecular Biology from Nagoya University in 1997. He got a job as a biomedical researcher and continued his carrier until 2018. He earned his PhD from the Department of Biological Science, Nagoya University, in 2003. In 2002, he joined the Faculty of Regenerative Medicine at Keio University and had led the methodological research. In 2018, he moved to his current position.
