Dr. Arianna Bresci is a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - G. R. Harrison Spectroscopy Laboratory and an optical engineer at Apollon. She is dedicated to the development and clinical trials of advanced Raman spectroscopy-based systems for in-vivo biosensing. Dr. Bresci earned her Ph.D. in Physics from Politecnico di Milano, under the mentorship of Prof. Dario Polli and Prof. Giulio Cerullo. Her doctoral research focused on multimodal nonlinear optical micro-spectroscopy, mainly coherent Raman spectroscopy and multi-photon imaging for applications in cancer and developmental biology. During her Ph.D., she was also a visiting researcher in Prof. Peter T. C. So's group at MIT, where she specialized in non-invasive morpho-molecular imaging of living biological systems coupling Raman spectroscopy and phase tomography.
