Dr. Manoj Kumar did his Ph.D. from Max Planck Institute and University of Cologne, Cologne, Germany in Natural Science. He has nearly 15 years of post-PhD experience with four years of postdoctoral training at University of Cambridge, UK. He has extensive experience in molecular biology, Genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, developmental biology as well as next generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis like DNA/RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq etc. During his PhD and post-doctoral studies, he has performed several genetic screens to identify novel genes leading to developmental plasticity in eukaryotes in response to external cues. He has published papers in leading journals like Science, Cell reports, EMBO reports, Genetics etc.  

Presently, he is a professor at Amity institute of Genome Engineering and his group is working in the area of stress/signal perception and response mechanism of organism in response to external cues.
