Antony Morales-Cervantes is a postdoctoral researcher at the Division of Graduate Studies and Research at Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia - TecNM, Mexico. He received his PhD in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí in 2019. His research specializes in experimental design and machine learning applications for biomedical and industrial systems, integrating infrared thermography (IRT) with embedded systems, signal processing, and artificial intelligence. His work spans applications ranging from materials characterization to physiological signal monitoring.

He collaborates actively with interdisciplinary teams and mentors graduate students in smart sensing, image-based diagnostics, and thermal data analysis. In addition to authoring several peer-reviewed articles in indexed journals, he is committed to fostering future scientific vocations through academic outreach. He organizes workshops on thermography and data-driven research, especially for children, with the aim of making science accessible and inspiring from an early age. His work focuses on developing reproducible methodologies that bridge engineering, data processing, and health sciences through non-invasive sensing technologies.
