Dr. Jianjun Ren is a professor at the Institute of Urban and Rural Mining, Changzhou University, where he leads the environmental microbiology technology team. Holding a Ph.D. from Beijing Forestry University, Dr. Ren's extensive research focuses on environmental biotechnology, including the discovery and modification of enzymes, bioremediation of complex organic pollutants, and the bioconversion of organic solid wastes. His breakthrough work covers the biological de-resistance of antibiotics fermentation residues and the pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass for the use of energy. Actively bridging basic science with industrial application, Dr. Ren holds over 30 national invention patents and has authored more than 70 high-impact peer-reviewed articles.
