Dr. Jiaqi Huang is an assistant research fellow at Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on the interplay between vascular and immune cells during vascular remodeling, with particular emphasis on the inflammatory mechanisms underlying thoracic aortic aneurysms and other vascular diseases.

She has published 24 peer-reviewed articles, including nine as first or corresponding author in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Clinical Investigation (JCI), Cardiovascular Research, and Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology (ATVB). Dr. Huang has been an active user of JoVE for more than a decade, utilizing its video resources to support both research and education. As a guest editor, she aims to leverage her expertise in vascular biology and familiarity with JoVE's visual format to curate a collection of practical, reproducible methodologies for investigating vascular inflammation and aneurysm pathogenesis, thereby advancing both basic and translational research in the field.
