Currently an assistant professor of public health at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Dr. Kristal Rychlik continues to publish in her primary field of interest, prenatal environmental exposures, with an emphasis on immune effects in offspring. With a PhD in Toxicology from Texas A&M University, Dr. Rychlik has published 15 journal articles and consistently presents at the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting, where she is active in the Occupational and Public Health and Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology Specialty Sections. She was recently elected secretary of the Lone Star Society of Toxicology. Furthermore, Dr. Rychlik earned her Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential in 2025 and joined the American Public Health Association in 2026.
