Annuity Payments

Annuity payments are a series of scheduled cash flows made at regular intervals, often used to provide income over a defined period or throughout a person’s lifetime. Their value depends on factors such as payment amount, timing, interest rate, payment duration, and whether payments remain fixed or adjust over time. In finance, annuities can be structured as ordinary annuities with payments at the end of each period or annuities due with payments at the beginning. They support retirement planning, loan repayment, insurance contracts, and investment analysis by helping evaluate present value, future value, and the sustainability of cash flows.
