Eye Alignment

Eye alignment is the coordinated positioning of the two eyes so that corresponding retinal regions view the same target, a process essential for binocular vision and depth perception. The brain integrates visual information with signals from the vestibular system and proprioceptive pathways, then adjusts the extraocular muscles through brainstem circuits and cranial nerves to maintain alignment during fixation and eye movements. In neuroscience, studying eye alignment helps reveal how sensory input, motor control, and neural feedback interact, while abnormalities such as strabismus can produce double vision or impaired depth perception and provide insight into visual development, oculomotor disorders, and brain function.

Trabecular meshwork (TM) migration into Schlemm’s canal space can be induced by acute pressure elevation by ophthalmodynamometer, and observed by spectral domain optical coherence tomography. The goal of this method is to quantify the morphometric response of the living outflow tract to acute pressure elevation in living tissues in situ.

Design Example: Alignment of a Road Line Using GIS

2025

The alignment of a road line using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a critical process in civil engineering, combining advanced technology with practical decision-making. This methodology begins with the collection of geospatial data, including information on land cover, geomorphology, drainage patterns, slope, and contour details. Such data is typically acquired through satellite imagery and GIS tools, offering a comprehensive understanding of the terrain.Once the data is gathered, it...
