Online Mri Guidance

Online MRI guidance is a technique that uses magnetic resonance images acquired during a procedure to guide decisions and target anatomy as conditions change. MRI provides detailed, nonionizing images of soft tissue, while repeated or near-real-time scans help clinicians localize structures, monitor motion or treatment response, and adjust instruments or procedural plans accordingly. In neuroscience, this approach supports precise targeting for interventions involving the brain and surrounding tissues, where small positional errors can affect outcomes. It improves anatomical visualization and procedural control, strengthening research and clinical workflows for image-guided neurosurgery, biopsy, and other minimally invasive treatments.
