The dual humanized mouse model enables mechanistic de-risking of liver-targeted therapeutics by providing a disease-relevant system for studying human liver-immune interactions. This supports target validation and predictive confidence in preclinical development, particularly for HIV-associated liver pathogenesis and related immunomodulatory therapies. The model enhances translational continuity from discovery through preclinical evaluation.
The model integrates into the discovery continuum from target validation through lead identification to preclinical efficacy testing, particularly for liver-directed immunomodulatory therapies.
