In dit protocol hebben we een kationisch nano-emulsie-ingekapseld retinoïnezuur (RA) ontwikkeld dat kan worden gebruikt als adjuvans om antigeenspecifieke systemische en mucosale reacties te bevorderen. Door de door de FDA goedgekeurde RA aan de nano-emulsie toe te voegen, werd antigeenspecifiek sIgA gepromoot in de vagina en dunne darm na intramusculaire injectie van de nano-emulsie.
We werken aan een mucosale vaccin dat een immuunrespons produceert als de set van infectie, die het potentieel heeft om infectie te voorkomen en de overdracht te onderbreken. We hebben een catatonisch nano-emulsie-ingekapseld retinoïnezuurafgiftesysteem ontwikkeld immunisatie met ovalbumine door intramusculaire injectie, die zowel systemische als mucosale immuunresponsen opwekt. In toekomstige studies kunnen diermodellen van darmgerelateerde ziekten worden gebruikt om het effect en het mechanisme van een kationisch nano-emulsie-ingekapseld retinoïnezuur bij het verbeteren van de vaccinbescherming verder te evalueren.
