In Indonesië, Sentinel node biopsie (SNB) wordt niet routinematig uitgevoerd voor borstkanker chirurgie vanwege de beperking om te voorzien van radio-isotopen Tracer en isosulfan of patent blauwe kleurstof (PBD). Om dit obstakel te overwinnen, hebben we 1% methyleen blauwe kleurstof (MBD) als één agent gebruikt om de Sentinel nodes (SNs) in kaart te hebben gebracht.

Deze prospectieve studie evalueerde de implementatie van een nieuw, enkelpoorts, robotplatform bij oncoplastische borstsparende chirurgie voor kwaadaardige laesies. Het primaire eindpunt was gericht op technisch succes, gedefinieerd als het bereiken van tumorvrije resectiemarges bevestigd door intraoperatieve histopathologie van de bevroren sectie, met secundaire beoordeling van esthetische resultaten en levenskwaliteitsscore van patiënten.

Fluorescentie beeldvorming is een veelbelovende innovatieve modaliteit voor beeld-geleide operatie in de chirurgische oncologie.
