Hermetic Polypropylene Chamber

A hermetic polypropylene chamber is a gas-tight enclosure made from polypropylene, designed to isolate its contents from uncontrolled exchange with the surrounding environment. Its sealed construction restricts the movement of air, moisture, and contaminants, while polypropylene provides a lightweight, durable material suitable for many laboratory conditions; performance depends on the integrity of the closure and seals. In medicine and biomedical research, these chambers can support controlled specimen handling, sample storage, or experimental environments in which exposure to ambient conditions must be minimized. Their use can improve reproducibility, protect samples, and help maintain defined conditions during laboratory procedures.

Endotracheal intubation in rabbits is challenging due to their unusual anatomy. Here we present a technique for direct intubation of the trachea using a polypropylene catheter as a guide. This method utilizes relatively inexpensive supplies, requires minimal training, and can be easily performed in any clinical setting.

Chambers of the Heart

2025

The human heart is a complex organ made up of four chambers: the right and left atria and the right and left ventricles. These internal chambers are separated by partitions known as the interatrial and interventricular septa. The exterior of the heart features a groove known as the coronary sulcus that demarcates the atria from the ventricles, while the anterior and posterior interventricular sulci distinguish between the two ventricles. Deoxygenated blood from the body is received in the right...
