Our nervous system isn’t just in our brain or spinal cord. There’s a vast network of nerves branching out through our entire body called the peripheral nervous system, or PNS.

It connects the brain and spinal cord to the hands, feet, face, and internal organs. Without it you couldn’t feel a hot stove or move your fingers.
