Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Emergency Department
Dr. Tengxiao Liang graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2000 and got a bachelor’s degree in Chinese medicine. He studied at Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from 2003 to 2007, received his master's degree, and got a PhD in 2007 and 2011. He studied after Dr. Liangduo Jiang, a great master of Chinese Medicine. He has engaged in the clinical teaching of integrated Chinese and western medicine in treating acute and critical diseases and the inheritance of experience of Chinese medicine great masters’ for about 20 years. He has presided over several national and provincial research projects and published more than 60 papers. He currently serves as a significant member of the Institute of Sepsis, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, AHA Heartsaver Instructor, the Professor of Treatment of the Emergency Department at the Dongzhimen Hospital, meanwhile a Doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Chinese medicine. His main research directions include the treatment of critical illness, acute infectious diseases, chronic and recurrent infectious diseases, and respiratory and digestive system diseases.

Fangliang Xing
Beijing Intelligent Entropy Science & Technology Co. Ltd., Department of R & D
Dr. Fangliang Xing serves as Chief AI Scientist at Beijing Intelligent Entropy Science & Technology Co. Ltd., Department of R & D. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology (2002) and completed postdoctoral research in Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology of China (2004), subsequently becoming an expert reviewer for China's Ministry of Science and Technology. With over 20 years of AI research experience across speech recognition, fuzzy image restoration, wind power prediction, digital twins, FMEA-based fault diagnosis, and advanced intelligent medicine, Dr. Xing has recently focused on medical AI applications including human airway digital reconstruction, CT and MRI fusion, non-invasive CBF (CBV) detection, liver fat fraction (LFF) detection for fatty liver assessment, holographic three-dimensional reconstruction of pulmonary nodules, and sepsis immune status research. His work has achieved significant socioeconomic benefits in industrial applications and earned a considerable reputation in scientific research. Dr. Xing has published over 20 SCI journal articles and completed 88 peer reviews for 14 SCI journals over the past two years. ORCID: 0000-0001-7373-8012.
The research of medical images reinforced with progressive AI techniques has begun to thrive, bringing a new development pattern in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis evaluation. A batch of new applications driven by medical image group analysis, such as the holographic, three-dimensional reconstruction of pulmonary nodules, 3D-digital airway management, fusion of CT and MRI, and non-invasive CBF detection, help doctors and bring benefits to a large number of patients.
This Methods Collection aims to collect methods and applications benefiting the development of medical image group analysis with advanced AI technologies. The subjects include, but are not limited to:
1. Development trend of medical imaging group ranging from methodology to applications
2. Integration between medical imaging groups and 3D printing
3. New non-invasive detection or prognostic evaluation methods by medical imaging group analysis
4. Surgical navigation supported by medical imaging group analysis
