Dr. Min Thura is a Senior Scientist II in the Institute of Molecular & Cell Biology (A*STAR), working actively in the research of intracellular oncoproteins, especially Phosphatase of Regenerating Liver 3 (PRL3), exploring PRL3 biology, validation of oncotargets, and preclinical and clinical development of antibodies against PRL3 and other oncotargets since 2012. He is a key player in the clinical trials of PRL3-zumab in Singapore and other countries. He received the prestigious Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship and pursued his PhD at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine (2005–2009) in neuroscience. He participated in various Phase I clinical trials at the Translational Research Center of Hamamatsu University Hospital during 2009–2011. He got his M.B.B.S. at the University of Medicine-1 (Yangon, Myanmar) in 1998 and a Master of Medical Sciences at the same university in 2003.

Collection Overview

Experimental methods in cancer immunotherapy are essential to advance our understanding of the complex interaction between the immune system and cancer, enabling the development of safer and more effective treatments to ultimately improve outcomes for cancer patients. These methods play a pivotal role in translating scientific discoveries into clinical practice.

The Methods Collection aims to compile a comprehensive set of methodologies and protocols related to solid tumor immunotherapy. The collection serves several objectives, including standardization, reproducibility, quality control, training, education, cross-disciplinary collaboration, optimization, and validation, providing valuable benefits to the research community.
