Kishan Yalamarty is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University. He also serves as the outreach coordinator in the Graduate Student Association (GSA) in the department. His research interests include lipid and polymeric-based delivery systems for nucleic acid delivery in oncology indications. He has over 5 years of research experience in the field of formulation and drug delivery. Kishan also worked in liposomes and PLGA based lipid polymer hybrid nanoparticles in cancer therapy. He has authored and co-authored multiple book chapters, reviews, and research articles. Before he joined the doctoral program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, he earned an MS degree in Chemistry from Cleveland State University, Cleveland OH.
