Nina Filipczak is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University and working in the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine (CPBN) laboratory headed by Dr. Vladimir Torchilin. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 2017. The Ministry of Higher Education in Poland recognized her research capabilities and funded her postdoctoral study at Northeastern University. She has over seven years of graduate research experience and over 10 years of overall research experience in the drug delivery sciences. She also received her Bachelor of Science (B.S) in medical biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw. Her research focuses on using lipid and polymer drug delivery systems in the treatment of cancer at CPBN. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and is experienced in the field of drug delivery and biotechnology.
