Dr. Manash K. Paul is a Principal Investigator and Scientist at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He has contributed significantly to the field of stem cell biology, organoid and disease modeling, regenerative medicine, and lung cancer. His research has focused on various signaling processes involved in maintaining stem cell homeostasis during the injury-repair process, deciphering lung stem cell niche, pulmonary disease modeling, immuno-oncology, organoid bioengineering, and drug discovery. He is currently investigating the role of extracellular vesicles in premalignant lung cell migration, immuno-oncology of the lung, and the use of tumor organoids. Dr. Paul has published in more than 50 peer-reviewed international journals and is highly cited. Dr. Paul is the recipient of many awards, including the UCLA Vice Chancellor’s award, senior member IEEE, and editorial member of many international journals.
