Dr. Parodi received his master’s degree in Biological Science in 2004 and his PhD in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and Food Science in 2008 at the Universita’ degli studi di Genova (Italy). He developed significant experience in drug formulation, nanomedicine, and drug delivery. He is currently holding the position of Associate Professor at Sechenov University (Moscow) and the position of a Leading Scientist at Sirius University (Sochi) where he is developing novel approaches to translate current concepts of PK to nanoparticles and to evaluate lysosomal degradation by using protein nanoparticles. In his career, he investigated the cellular impact and the drug delivery properties of different delivery platforms, including lipid, polymeric, silica, carbon nanotubes and protein nanoparticles.
