Marta Camprubí Camprubí is a Pediatric specialist in Neonatology that works in SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, combining basic and clinical research. She has one master’s degree in Neuroscience and one master’s degree in Statistics and methodology. She has focused her research career on studying the mechanism of brain damage in critically ill newborns and its impact on their long-term neurological outcomes. She has conducted several research projects on hypoxic-ischemic brain injury in humans and animal models. Dr. Camprubí leads the neonatal neuro-cardiac critical care unit in the clinical arena. She has conducted several workshops on neuromonitoring within the neonatal intensive care unit.
