Mr. Chen graduated with a Master's degree from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2020 and is continuing his doctoral studies. His extensive and thoughtful effort was devoted to traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) against osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. He conducts a series of pharmacological researches in prospecting key candidates and mechanisms of Chinese medicine in treating rheumatic diseases via network pharmacology and validating them via experiments with research findings presented at national rheumatology conferences. Currently, he focuses on the effects of TCM on immune homeostasis to elucidate the mechanisms by which TCM works to treat immune-mediated rheumatic diseases.
