Digital Holography

Digital holography is an imaging method that records the interference pattern formed when coherent light interacts with a specimen, preserving both amplitude and phase information. A camera captures the hologram, and computational algorithms numerically reconstruct the light wave to produce a three-dimensional representation or quantitative phase map of the sample. In biology, this approach enables label-free observation of living cells, microorganisms, and tissue structures while reducing photobleaching and other perturbations associated with fluorescent imaging. Measurements of cell morphology, growth, movement, and intracellular dynamics support studies of development, disease, drug responses, and cellular physiology.

Digital Microfluidics is a technique characterized by the manipulation of discrete droplets (~nL - mL) on an array of electrodes by the application of electrical fields. It is well-suited for carrying out rapid, sequential, miniaturized automated biochemical assays. Here, we report a platform capable of automating several proteomic processing steps.

Measuring Engagement of Spectators of Social Digital Games

Mastering the understanding and effective use of metrics in digital marketing is not just a skill, but a necessity for optimizing campaign performance. It goes beyond the commonly used metrics like click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC). Several other important metrics can provide deeper insights into user behavior and campaign effectiveness, making them indispensable tools in the digital marketer's arsenal. For instance, the conversion rate is a critical metric that indicates the...
