5g Sub6 Ghz

5G sub-6 GHz refers to fifth-generation cellular communication that operates below 6 GHz, combining broad coverage with higher capacity and lower latency than earlier mobile networks. It transmits data through radio-frequency bands using technologies such as orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antennas, and beamforming, which directs signals toward users while improving spectral efficiency. Compared with millimeter-wave 5G, sub-6 GHz signals generally travel farther and penetrate buildings more effectively, making them practical for wide-area deployment. Engineers use this spectrum to support mobile broadband, connected devices, industrial communication, and emerging applications requiring reliable, scalable wireless connectivity.

2015

Here we present a protocol to build a rapid Brillouin spectrometer. Cascading virtually imaged phase array (VIPA) etalons achieve a measurement speed more than 1,000 times faster than traditional scanning Fabry-Perot spectrometers. This improvement provides the means for Brillouin analysis of tissue and biomaterials at low power levels in vivo.

The objective of the described protocol is to support the flexible incorporation of 5G experimentation infrastructures into a multi-site NFV ecosystem, through a VPN-based overlay network architecture. Moreover, the protocol defines how to validate the effectiveness of the integration, including a multi-site vertical service deployment with NFV-capable small aerial vehicles.

This study describes a protocol to measure exposure levels in the 2.4 GHz band, avoiding the uncertainties caused by the use of personal exposimeters as measuring devices. These alterations of the exposure levels should be taken into account, especially in compliance testing, where exposure limits are defined from non-perturbed data.

Generating the 6-hydroxydopamine Rat Model of Parkinson's Disease

2025

This video demonstrates a procedure to create a rat model of Parkinson's disease by injecting the neurotoxin 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) into the brain. The neurotoxin infusion into the medial forebrain bundle (MFB) specifically targets dopaminergic neurons responsible for motor control, leading to their destruction and replicating Parkinson's disease symptoms.

Sensorimotor Stage II: Substages 4 to 6

2026

Piaget’s sensorimotor stage describes cognitive development from birth to approximately two years. During this stage, infants progress from reflexive behavior toward intentional action and early symbolic thought. Substages four through six show major advances in problem-solving, experimentation, and mental representation.Substage 4: Coordination of Secondary Circular ReactionsFrom approximately 8 to 12 months, infants begin coordinating previously learned behaviors to achieve specific goals.
