Programmable Led Array

A programmable LED array is an engineered matrix of light-emitting diodes whose individual elements or groups can be electronically controlled to produce defined patterns, intensities, or colors. A controller addresses the array through its driving circuitry, adjusting electrical current or pulse-width modulation to regulate each LED’s brightness and coordinate timed light emission across the matrix. In engineering, these arrays support digital displays, adaptive lighting, machine-vision illumination, optical measurement, and interactive devices. Their precise spatial and temporal control enables rapid prototyping of lighting systems, efficient signal generation, and experiments that require repeatable, software-defined optical outputs.
