Lamotrigine Augmentation

Lamotrigine augmentation is the addition of lamotrigine to an existing psychiatric treatment regimen to improve symptom control when a single medication provides an inadequate response. Lamotrigine primarily inhibits voltage-gated sodium channels, stabilizing neuronal membranes and reducing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamate. In medicine, clinicians may consider this strategy for treatment-resistant depression, particularly when mood instability or bipolar-spectrum features are present, although its effectiveness varies across conditions and patients. Careful dose escalation and monitoring are essential because rapid titration increases the risk of serious skin reactions, including Stevens–Johnson syndrome.

2025

Augmented Reality (AR) marketing leverages technology to blend digital elements into the physical world, enhancing consumer experiences. By using AR, brands can create immersive and interactive environments, allowing users to visualize products or services in real time. Unlike virtual reality, which immerses users in a fully digital space, AR integrates virtual components into the real world, often via smartphones or specialized devices like AR glasses. This technology provides a unique...

This paper presents a system for photorealistic 3D reconstruction using 360-degree images, Gaussian Splatting, and virtual reality integration. The approach can be applied to different applications such as education, simulating learning environments; construction, to simulate works off-sites and retrieve metrics; or healthcare, to train autistic people in daily-life tasks.
