Mouse Fixation Device

A mouse fixation device is a laboratory apparatus that gently restrains and positions a mouse, enabling controlled medical and biomedical procedures while limiting movement. It works through a shaped body chamber or adjustable restraints that stabilize the animal and provide access to specific anatomical regions, with design features that support consistent positioning and, when appropriate, ventilation. In medicine and preclinical research, these devices assist with injections, blood collection, imaging, dosing, and other interventions that require precision. Standardized fixation can improve operator control, reduce procedural variability, and support safer, more reproducible measurements in animal studies.
