Skin Incision Mid Axillary

A skin incision at the midaxillary line is a surgical cut placed along the lateral chest wall, using the midpoint of the axilla as an anatomical landmark for access to underlying tissues. The incision passes through the skin and subcutaneous tissue, while careful dissection follows the relevant tissue planes and preserves nearby nerves, vessels, and muscles. In medicine, this approach can provide access to the thoracic cavity or lateral chest structures during procedures such as thoracic surgery, drainage, or tissue sampling. Accurate positioning and controlled depth help improve exposure, support safe manipulation, and promote effective wound closure and healing.

2026

This study describes a standardized surgical procedure for single-port endoscopic axillary lymph node dissection without liposuction in breast cancer. Indicated for patients with biopsy-confirmed nodal metastasis or positive sentinel lymph nodes, the technique emphasizes preservation of critical structures, particularly the intercostobrachial nerve, to reduce postoperative morbidity and optimize functional recovery.

Nerve-sparing Mid-urethral Obstruction (NeMO) in Female Small Rodents

Traditional modeling of partial bladder outlet obstruction in rodents is fraught with animal mortality. A denervation injury from dissection around the proximal urethra and bladder neck is also of major concern. We developed and evaluated a safe and reliable mid-urethral obstruction model, avoiding the shortcomings of the traditional model.

At point A, the price is $6 for 120 units. Moving to point B, the price increases to $9, resulting in a decrease in quantity demanded to 80 units. This translates to a 50 percent increase in price and a 33.33 percent decrease in quantity, leading to a price elasticity value of 33.33/50 or 0.67. Conversely, moving from point B to A, entails a 33.33 percent decline in price and a 50 percent increase in quantity. This yields a price elasticity of 50/33.33 or 1.5. This discrepancy arises from the...

We describe a method for in-situ tapering of As2S3 fibers to achieve efficient mid-infrared supercontinuum generation. By tapering while monitoring the supercontinuum’s spectrum, the spectral width can be maximized for a fiber taper. In-situ fiber tapering can be applied to optimize the performance of other fiber-based devices.
