Coding Sheet

A coding sheet is a structured research tool used to record, organize, and categorize observations, responses, or other data according to predefined variables or codes. In psychology, researchers translate behaviors, statements, or survey responses into consistent categories by applying operational definitions and recording each occurrence systematically, which supports accurate analysis and can improve agreement between observers. Coding sheets are used in behavioral observation, interview and content analysis, survey research, and experimental studies to convert complex information into analyzable data. Their design influences data quality, reproducibility, and the validity of conclusions about cognition, behavior, and social interaction.

lncRNA - Long Non-coding RNAs

2020

In humans, more than 80% of the genome gets transcribed. However, only around 2% of the genome codes for proteins. The remaining part produces non-coding RNAs which includes ribosomal RNAs, transfer RNAs, telomerase RNAs, and regulatory RNAs, among other types. A large number of regulatory non-coding RNAs have been classified into two groups depending upon their length – small non-coding RNAs, such as microRNA, which are less than 200 nucleotides in length, and long non-coding RNA (lncRNA)...

2017

We present three new methods to study gustatory coding. Using a simple animal, the moth Manduca sexta (Manduca), we describe a dissection protocol, the use of extracellular tetrodes to record the activity of multiple gustatory receptor neurons, and a system for delivering and monitoring precisely timed pulses of tastants.

Balance Sheet

2024

A balance sheet is a key component of financial statement analysis. It provides a snapshot of a company's financial position at a given time by listing its assets, liabilities, and shareholders' equity. It includes both current and long-lived assets and current and long-term liabilities. Assets reflect what the company owns, such as cash, inventory, and real estate, whereas liabilities represent what the company owes, including debts like loans and accounts payable. Balance sheet analysis is...

Identification of Coding and Non-coding RNA Classes Expressed in Swine Whole Blood
