Stereotactic hydrogel injection into post-stroke mouse brains enables precise delivery of biomaterial scaffolds that mimic the extracellular matrix, supporting cellular infiltration and angiogenesis. This approach addresses a critical challenge in neurotherapeutic discovery by providing a reproducible platform for evaluating regenerative strategies in disease-relevant models. The method enhances predictive confidence for early-stage neuroregeneration programs and informs portfolio triage decisions in CNS therapeutic pipelines.
