Die Hefe-Mitochondrien nucleoid Protein, Mgm101, ist ein Rad52-Typ Rekombinationsprotein die große oligomere Ringe bildet. Ein Protokoll wird beschrieben, dass lösliches rekombinantes Mgm101 vorzubereiten mit dem Maltose Binding Protein (MBP)-Tagging-Strategie mit Kationenaustausch und Größenausschlusschromatographie gekoppelt.
