A diferencia del VIH-1 partículas libres de células, las células T CD4 + infectados son detectados con eficacia por las células dendríticas plasmocitoides (PDC). Este manuscrito describe un método donde las células mononucleares de sangre periférica (PBMCs) o PDC aisladas son co-cultivadas con VIH-1 en las células T infectadas para evaluar detección innata por PDC según la evaluación de liberación de IFN de tipo I.
