ここでは、合成関連条件下での滴定検出器として、その場赤外分光法に採用することにより、ルイス酸と塩基との溶液相互作用を観察する方法を紹介する。溶液相互作用を調べることによって、この方法はX線結晶学に対する補体を表し、NMR分光法の代替手段となる。
