Ultrasound Ct Mri

Ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are noninvasive medical imaging modalities that visualize anatomy and biological function for diagnosis, research, and device development. Ultrasound forms images from echoes of high-frequency sound waves, CT reconstructs cross-sectional anatomy from multiple X-ray measurements, and MRI detects radiofrequency signals produced by hydrogen nuclei in a magnetic field. In bioengineering, these complementary techniques support tissue characterization, image-guided procedures, biomaterial evaluation, computational modeling, and the design of implants and therapeutic systems. Understanding their physical principles, resolution, contrast, and safety considerations helps researchers select appropriate methods for studying complex biological structures.
