Immuno Probing

Immuno probing is an antibody-based method for detecting and identifying specific proteins or other antigens in biological samples, making it a fundamental tool in biology and biomedical research. The method relies on selective antigen–antibody binding: a primary antibody recognizes the target, while a labeled secondary antibody or directly tagged primary antibody produces a measurable signal through fluorescence, enzyme activity, or another detection system. Researchers use immuno probing in techniques such as Western blotting, immunostaining, and immunoassays to assess protein presence, abundance, localization, and molecular changes. These results support studies of cell signaling, disease mechanisms, gene expression, and therapeutic responses.
