Biography

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Molecular & Cell Physiology, Albany Medical Center, New York. I received my undergraduate with honors degree from the University of Dundee, UK, and a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool, UK.

I was studying DNA repair, interstrand crosslink repair in particular, during Ph.D. period, and continue to study the DNA repair defect on Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome at Yue Zou's lab in the East Tennessee State University. I switched my study focus onto sumoylation during spermatogenesis at Margarita Vigodner's lab in the Yeshiva University before eventually come back into cancer research field and study the Hippo pathway, YAP & TAZ in metastasis in John Lamar's lab at Albany Medical Center.
