Biography

Mr. LIU Zhao is a Chinese-born Ph.D. student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) under the guidance of Assistant Professor Ho Chun Loong. He got his Bachelor of Biological Engineering from the North University of China in 2016. Soon after, he earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, the USA in 2018. Currently, his work is on engineering therapeutic peptides for various cancer or infection target-specific applications, especially in colorectal cancer and Fusobacterium nucleatum-associated diseases.
